Enforcement Branch

   This branch is headed by a Superintendent of Taxes, assisted by   
       Inspectors and ministerial staff. 

   The main function of this branch is to check Tax evasion by defaulting dealers and recovery of arrears of tax revenue.

   * Besides the above, the Department proposes to set up Audit circle(s) and to do away with the Purchase Tax Circle.
